✧ ABOUT US ✧

CREATING COMMUNITY

The Southeast Asian Student Association (SASA)Β at UC Irvine was founded in 2012 to provide a network for Southeast Asian Students and to promote cultural awareness on campus. We host a number of programs throughout the school year both on campus and off. Our programs are designed to promote education and self-improvement as well as cultural awareness.

✧ OUR MISSION ✧

CULTURE, MENTORSHIP, COMMUNITY

The Southeast Asian Student Association (SASA) aims to unite and empower the Southeast Asian Community through a commitment to culture, mentorship, and community. We recognize the historical context and social repercussions of the issues withinΒ our underrepresented communities. SASA also fosters a safe space to share experiences and to build community consciousness. By coming together, we will strengthen our community.

Check out our podcast, hosted this year by our Coalition Chair, Justin Han!

From representation to activism, our podcast will serve as a dialogue for many diverse individuals to voice their perspectives on the subject at hand. We hope to provide a safe space for the SEA community as we explore the vast expanse of culture and identity.
